In response to widespread campus closure globally due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as part of the knowledge transfer endeavour of the Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC), 10 free online courses on disaster and medical humanitarian response supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute (HKJCDPRI) at Hong Kong Academy of Medicine are now open for registration until 31 March 2021 and registered students are allowed to study the courses anywhere anytime until 30 April 2021. Upon registration, students are allowed to study the course at a safe location and at their own pace. A certificate of completion will be issued for participants who have successfully completed each course.
These courses will be very useful for students and practitioners to explore health emergency and disaster risk management (Health-EDRM) issues during this challenging time of global public health emergency. CCOUC is collaborating with academic units and programmes to offer these courses for fulfilling their course requirements.
