ANSO-DRR Steering Committee Meeting

Professor Emily Chan, CCOUC Director and a steering committee member of the Alliance of International Science Organizations on Disaster Risk Reduction (ANSO-DRR), and Mr C S Wong of CCOUC team attended the 1st ANSO-DRR Steering Committee meeting in Chengdu, China via Zoom on 12 January 2021. Professor Chan delivered a presentation entitled “Intersection of natural hazards and health-emergency management: What specific roles can ANSO-DRR play?”

This meeting has updated committee members on the development of ANSO-DRR and discussed the critical issues for future development, collaboration prospects and capacity building activities of this international organization.
