CCOUC 10th Anniversary Webinar: Health-EDRM Education and Research in China: Commemorating the 512 Wenchuan Earthquake
Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) was established by the joint effort of Oxford University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong as a non-profit research centre to carry out research, training and community knowledge transfer in the area of disaster and medical humanitarian response in Greater China and the Asia-Pacific Region a decade ago on 19 April 2011.
To celebrate this milestone of CCOUC, we are organizing CCOUC 10th Anniversary International Webinar Series on Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management, supported by various global partners. The international webinar series aims to allow participants to:
- Gain insights about the latest development and updates of Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management (Health EDRM) framework of the World Health Organization and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic;
- Understand the knowledge, research gaps and agenda involved;
- Exchange about potential research collaborations in the disaster and medical humanitarian response, Health-EDRM, and the COVID-19 pandemic; and
- Engage in a multidisciplinary platform to support DRR/ Health EDRM
