CCOUC Meets Delegates from Urumqi of China’s Xinjiang Province at Oxford University

CCOUC delegates met with representatives from Xinjiang Medical University and Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in a dinner hosted by Oxford University’s Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM) on 10 December 2014. This collaborative dinner between NDM Xinjiang and CCOUC was organised in the beautiful and historic Corpus Christi College of Oxford University. Over the course of the dinner, CCOUC had discussed areas of mutual interest regarding medical and humanitarian work within China with Dr Geng Zhi, Vice President of Xinjiang Medical University, Dr Wang Xiyan, President of Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University) and Dr Ruozheng, Director of the Radiation Unit at the Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
