The CCOUC NGO Fellowship programme 2014 officially kick-started on 3rd July 2014. Fourteen practitioners and researchers from Hong Kong and Mainland China* have participated in the summer courses in “Disaster and Humanitarian Crisis” and “Climate Change and Health” organized by CCOUC.
Sponsored by CUHK Global Policy Impact and Social Mission (GPISM) Subgroup of the Steering Committee for Internationalization and Engagement of Mainland China, the objective of the fellowship is to enhance NGO’s capacity to provide evidence-based emergency assistance. Through classroom teaching, simulation, and interactive exercise, CCOUC’s community partners also shared their experience in health and development issues with CUHK students.
The year-long programme includes residential trainings and disaster seminar series.
