Lancet “Healthy Cities in China” meeting, Xiamen, China

Professor Emily Chan and Mr Sida Liu of CCOUC were invited to attend the Lancet Commission meeting held in Xiamen, China from 11 to 13 September 2016. The 2nd meeting is part of a newly commissioned project led by Professor Gong Peng of Tsinghua University that aims to compile a comprehensive report under the theme of “Healthy Cities in China”. Experts in public health, environmental science, urban planning, emergency management from a number of research and academic institutes were invited to contribute their expertise and consolidate the key components of the report.
