CCOUC participated in the Working Group Meeting on Natech Risk in Asia Pacific of the Asia Science Technology and Academia Advisory Group of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR ASTAAG) at Tohoku University in Sendai of Japan on 9 November 2019 via teleconferencing. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the basic regional framework of Natech risk and the key findings from regional case study analysis. CCOUC presented a case study on 2018 Typhoon Mangkhut in Hong Kong in the meeting.
