Health Needs Assessment trip to Yushu Prefecture of Qinghai Province

CCOUC team visited some remote primary boarding schools in Nangqian County at Yushu Prefecture of Qinghai Province from 17 to 21 March 2015.

The team conducted various health needs assessments in several high-altitude and remote township primary boarding schools and village schools in Nangqian County,focusing on adolescent women’s menstrual hygiene practice and management.

CCOUC also worked in collaboration with the local primary schools’ principals, teachers and health professionals to actively plan for future sustainable health education projects to improve personal hygiene practices of adolescent women.
